About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Financial Controls Specialist to join our team at Western Alliance Bank. As a Financial Controls Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the IT Audit Director, IT Associate Audit Director, and IT Audit Supervisor with audits across the organization and completing multiple audit assignments and/or projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document process narratives and evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls to established policies & procedures as well as regulatory guidance using the audit software (Wdesk/Workiva).
  • Plan and perform tests of validation for implemented management action plans as assigned.
  • Assist in the closure of audit issues per audit methodology.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Internal Audit, Risk Management, and Regulatory Compliance is required.
  • Entry-level time management and organizational skills are necessary.
  • Good skills at general communication are required.

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
