Key Responsibilities- Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement daily production schedules to meet customer demands and company objectives.
- Team Leadership and Development: Coach and mentor production team members to improve their performance and skills, providing regular feedback and guidance.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that products meet the required standards of quality and safety.
- Inventory Management and Control: Work closely with the Materials Department to manage inventory levels and optimize the flow of materials throughout the production process.
- Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve production issues and bottlenecks, implementing corrective actions to prevent similar problems from occurring in the future.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Engineering, and Shipping, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of production activities.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in inventory management and control.
This position requires a significant amount of walking and squatting, with occasional time spent sitting at a desk. The work environment is indoors, in an industrial manufacturing setting, with regular exposure to noise levels requiring hearing protection and moving equipment.
