Job Overview

Position Type: Part-time, limited to 28 hours per week

Compensation: $14.50 per hour

Role Summary:

The individual in this role will be responsible for overseeing park activities, ensuring safety, and enforcing regulations within park boundaries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols of park areas to ensure safety and compliance
  • Respond to emergency calls and coordinate with emergency services as needed
  • Document all incidents and activities in detailed reports
  • Inspect lighting and facilities, coordinating repairs as necessary

Assist in the management of events and community activities:

  • Provide security support during events such as festivals and weddings
  • Facilitate the rental process for park facilities
  • Manage traffic flow during special occasions
  • Engage in community outreach and educational programs
  • Maintain and organize departmental tools and supplies
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement during critical situations
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Licensing:

A valid driver's license is mandatory.
