About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Event Security Specialist to join our team at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. As an Event Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, staff, and visitors during events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform event and non-event security duties as assigned, including conducting pre-event and post-event building safety inspections.
  • Admit authorized personnel according to established security procedures and protect FieldHouse equipment, materials, and structures.
  • Answer information requests from staff and guests, and manage lost and found items according to team procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid State of Ohio identification.
  • Flexibility to work any day of the week, including weekends and various shift times.
  • Ability to work all ticketed events at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse (mandatory per union guidelines).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous security experience.
  • Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA) certification.

Additional Information:

  • New hires will join the Local B-27 Union.
  • Must maintain a clean, neat appearance and wear complete Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse issued Security uniform.
