About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pipeline Technician to join our team at HF Sinclair Corporation. As a key member of our Midstream Operations team, you will be responsible for conducting assignments and duties under general supervision, leading the work of others as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure pipeline electrical/instrumentation equipment is operating properly and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Maintain pipeline integrity and instrumentation operators use to obtain information.
  • Install, calibrate, and maintain instruments and safety equipment, ensuring all calibration reports are current.
  • Perform minor pump repairs and ensure all test equipment, gauges, and relief valves are certified.
  • Program SCADA controls and equipment required to safely operate and maintain pipelines and terminals.
  • Balance terminal operations, including barrels in and barrels out.
  • Perform quality control checks on products and respond to upsets and abnormal operating instances.
  • Generate various reports for daily distribution and verify compliance with DOT requirements.
  • Ensure operations and safety procedures are followed at all times.
Requirements
  • A minimum of five years of job-related experience is required.
  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • PREFERRED EDUCATION: A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
