Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering, or computer science (for EE/CompSci roles).
  • Registration with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications.
  • For attorney roles, 2+ years' experience in intellectual property litigation and a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school are necessary.
  • Admittance to practice law in one or more states, with a willingness to become licensed in North Carolina (for attorney roles).
  • Strong project management capabilities and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, alongside analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capacity to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to bend and stoop as needed.
