About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS). As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the functionality of building systems within our client facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain electrical and mechanical systems, including material handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems.
  • Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance routines and document results.
  • Track and store department inventory.
  • Cultivate positive working relationships with clients and operations team members.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or higher degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of related experience and/or training.
  • Proficiency in using computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with powered or non-powered hand tools.
  • Ability to solve problems and carry out general instructions in standard situations.
  • Ability to move up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the mechanical or electrical field.
  • 2+ years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience with MHE safety standards and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
  • 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
