Resident Services Coordinator Part Time Day Shift

Providence is seeking a Resident Service Coordinator to work onsite in a supportive housing setting. This part-time, day shift position is ideal for someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of community-dwelling older adults.
The Resident Service Coordinator's role is to engage with individual residents and the resident community to promote quality of life, resource utilization, and successful tenancy. This position is based at Providence House, a Providence Supportive Housing site in Yakima, providing quality, permanent housing to approximately 47 residents.
A hybrid schedule of 16 hours onsite, 4 hours remote is available with supervisor approval. Core responsibilities include:
- Identifying and promoting resident opportunities to access local and national resources/services addressing medical, social, emotional, financial, and other needs.
- Providing case management services as needed; assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating to improve experiences and outcomes.
- Implementing educational and wellness programs/events based on resident interests and needs.
- Collaborating with property management in addressing resident safety and housing-related concerns.

Required Qualifications:
- 2 years Experience in social service delivery with senior citizens and/or non-elderly disabled.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or degree in Gerontology, Psychology, or Counseling; a college degree is fully acceptable. Individuals without a degree but with appropriate work experience may be hired.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
