Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at DeTar Healthcare System. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide radiation therapy treatment to patients with cancer and other diseases.
  • Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring accurate and safe treatment delivery.
  • Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic imaging.
  • Administer radiation therapy treatments, monitoring patient response and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest radiation therapy techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Program.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry or registry eligibility in Radiation Therapy Technology.
  • Licensed by the State Department of Health Services MRT/TMB.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of radiation therapy.
  • At least 1 year of experience in radiation therapy or a related field.
