JOB OVERVIEW

The role involves receiving, identifying, storing, distributing, inventorying, picking, packing, and shipping materials, supplies, components, and equipment in an efficient manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support Shipping or Receiving operations as necessary.
  • Interpret warehouse documentation to ascertain items to be moved, gathered, or shipped.
  • Transport items to designated areas.
  • Log quantities of materials or items moved into the computer system.
  • Assist in performing physical inventories and cycle counts.
  • Help maintain inventory records by documenting materials received and distributed, creating shortage lists, and disseminating them as needed.
  • Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and safe.
  • Adhere to all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace, employing safe work practices.
  • Carry out other work-related tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Preferred: Experience operating a forklift.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed and participate in an on-call rotating schedule.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Commitment to comply with all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt and be cross-trained in various job functions.
  • Work environment may involve significant temperature variations.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend/stoop, push/pull, and perform repetitive movements for up to 12 hours daily.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
