Job Title: Python Developer

At Mindlance, we are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer to join our team. As a Python Developer, you will be responsible for converting Excel-based calculations to Python code, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and understand existing Excel-based calculations.
  • Identify key functionalities and logic implemented in Excel sheets.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather additional requirements and clarify any ambiguities.
  • Convert Excel-based calculations to Python code, optimizing for performance and scalability.
  • Implement error handling and validation to ensure robustness.
  • Document existing Excel-based calculations and create comprehensive documentation for Python code.
  • Develop and execute test cases to validate accuracy and performance of Python code.
  • Compare results of Python code with original Excel calculations to ensure consistency.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Python programming language.
  • Experience with data analysis and machine learning.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
