Job Title: Operations Supervisor

ACTS-Aviation Security Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at the Boston Logan International Airport.

Job Summary

The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for providing support to ACTS Leads and Security Agents in the daily activities established by the customer's requirements. This includes scheduling and assigning Security Agents to ensure proper coverage and relief for the ACTS-Aviation Security operation.

The successful candidate will serve as a liaison for Local Airline Customers, Host Catering units, and TSA or other Government Authorities. They will ensure and maintain all security-related records as indicated by the local Airline Customers, TSA, and other Government Authorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs or assists in scheduling and assigning Security Agents to ensure proper coverage and relief for the ACTS-Aviation Security operation.
  • Serves as a liaison for Local Airline Customers, Host Catering units, and TSA or other Government Authorities.
  • Ensures and maintains all security-related records as indicated by the local Airline Customers, TSA, and other Government Authorities.
  • Performs regularly scheduled documented audits of employee work performance, including video reviews, according to ACTS-Aviation Security policies.
  • Ensures that all Government, Customer, Airlines, and local requirements are met.
  • Reports all daily, weekly, monthly activities to the appropriate member of management.
  • Conducts and ensures that all training and orientation are provided to employees.
  • Works with Regional HR Manager to recruit, hire, and retain the highest quality Security Agents.
  • Disciplines Agents as necessary.
  • Maintains all provisions, regulations, procedures, and processes in the current collective bargaining agreement.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by ACTS-Aviation Security management.
Requirements
  • 5 years in airport/warehouse management.
  • 3 years Supervisory experience in security functions in aviation (not general).
  • Knowledge of airline and Catering Security regulations.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Knowledge of Cargo Screening.
Qualifications

  • Detail Oriented - Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well.
Education
  • Associates (preferred).
  • Experience
    • 2 years: Airport Operations Management (required).
    • 5 years: Airport Management (preferred).
  • Experience supervising (preferred).
  • Experience supervising a unionized environment (required).
  • 2 years: Airport Operations Management (required).
Licenses & Certifications
  • Drivers - Non CDL (required).
