Overview


The Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for spearheading QA initiatives for extensive enterprise projects and must be adept at establishing clear protocols for the QA workflow, ensuring teams remain accountable while adhering to the defined strategy and guidelines.

The successful candidate will guarantee that all project team members and stakeholders comprehend their roles, responsibilities, and the expected timelines for deliverables.

You will ensure that the business meets its obligations to conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) punctually, achieving a high level of participation. Furthermore, the QA Lead will provide coaching and mentorship to Business Analysts regarding user story clarity and its implications for test execution.

Experience in optimizing System Integration Testing (SIT), QA, and regression testing processes is essential, along with a proven track record in planning and executing complex end-to-end testing that involves integrations with both internal and external systems.

Responsibilities

Key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Collaborating closely with business partners, project management, and vendor technical delivery teams to grasp business requirements.
  • Implementing software testing methodologies, procedures, and tools that enhance the overall product development lifecycle.
  • Communicating daily and weekly objectives while monitoring and reporting progress using Jira.
  • Ensuring team members are focused on the right tasks to meet goals.
  • Overseeing the escalation of any product issues identified during testing, ensuring proper communication and resolution.
  • Driving continuous improvement for both existing and new testing processes and methodologies.
  • Testing ERP applications, including integrations, data migrations, and various applications.
  • Creating and documenting test strategies, plans, executing tests, analyzing results, and reporting issues and anomalies.
  • Facilitating defect resolution discussions and defining processes.
  • Participating in UAT sessions and assisting in defect log documentation.
  • Ensuring timely and planned software testing while notifying management of any bottlenecks, issues, or risks.
  • Assisting Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Business Analysts in developing UAT test scenarios based on SIT test cases.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


To be considered for this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

  • 5-7 years of demonstrated experience as a QA Test Lead in Salesforce implementations, with a thorough understanding of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, COQ, Experience Cloud, AR/AP processing, and customization capabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, test management tools, and defect tracking systems.
  • Hands-on experience in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for intricate business processes.
  • Familiarity with agile and waterfall development methodologies and experience in cross-functional team environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Service Cloud Consultant are advantageous.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a flexible work schedule.

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $155,000 – $167,700. This range is specific to the United States and considers various factors, including skills, prior relevant experience, training, certifications, internal equity, and market data.
