Role Overview:
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and safety of our manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include:
  1. Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe and sanitary working environment.
  2. Analyzing, writing, and optimizing CNC programs to enhance machine performance.
  3. Collaborating with maintenance teams to minimize machine downtime.
  4. Updating and maintaining production routers and work centers to reflect current operational processes.
  5. Developing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges related to plant layout and design.
  6. Evaluating engineering proposals and determining the feasibility of new equipment designs.
  7. Reviewing engineering drawings and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  8. Conducting preliminary surveys and preparing necessary documentation for tooling and fixture modifications.
  9. Inspecting materials and installations for adherence to specifications.
  10. Managing project documentation and maintaining records of progress and costs.
  11. Identifying cost-saving opportunities related to materials and processes.
  12. Performing additional duties as required, which may include tasks outside of your primary responsibilities.
Qualifications:
  1. Proficient in standard software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  2. Strong record-keeping and report preparation skills.
  3. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Commitment to staying updated on the latest technologies in manufacturing.
  6. Flexibility to work varied schedules as project needs arise.
  7. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience in a manufacturing setting.
