Role Overview:
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and safety of our manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe and sanitary working environment.
- Analyzing, writing, and optimizing CNC programs to enhance machine performance.
- Collaborating with maintenance teams to minimize machine downtime.
- Updating and maintaining production routers and work centers to reflect current operational processes.
- Developing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges related to plant layout and design.
- Evaluating engineering proposals and determining the feasibility of new equipment designs.
- Reviewing engineering drawings and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Conducting preliminary surveys and preparing necessary documentation for tooling and fixture modifications.
- Inspecting materials and installations for adherence to specifications.
- Managing project documentation and maintaining records of progress and costs.
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities related to materials and processes.
- Performing additional duties as required, which may include tasks outside of your primary responsibilities.
- Proficient in standard software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong record-keeping and report preparation skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
