About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Reviewer to join our team at Withum. As a key member of our Tax Services Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely tax reporting for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and prepare individual, entity, and trust and estate tax returns in accordance with Withum's policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to the firm's written tax practice standards and procedures.
  • Ensure client confidentiality by following all company procedures regarding information handling.
  • Manage multiple engagements concurrently to efficiently meet client deadlines.
  • Answer client questions and provide advice.
  • Identify and research tax issues.
Requirements
  • Tax review experience (3+ years); CPA's or Enrolled Agents preferred.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local personal income tax laws.
  • Proficiency with GoSystem and SurePrep preferred.
  • Experience with Box, CCH Workflow (XCM), Adobe, and Tax Caddy a plus.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suites a plus.
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, technologically advanced, interactive, results-based team environment.
  • Practice effective time management; able to re-prioritize tasks and support teams based on frequently changing needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
