The MetroHealth System is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join its team. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will work closely with patients and families to develop personalized occupational therapy programs that promote independence and quality of life.

Job Summary

This full-time position is responsible for planning, organizing, and providing occupational therapy services to individuals with physical, emotional, or developmental disabilities. You will assess patient needs, create customized treatment plans, and provide education to patients and caregivers on strategies for daily living and functional activities.

About the Role

This role requires a strong foundation in occupational therapy principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will be expected to maintain accurate records, collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or post-graduate certificate in Occupational Therapy from a school accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
  • National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy Certification (NBCOT) and Ohio licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to travel to satellite locations as needed
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits

The MetroHealth System offers a competitive salary range of $73,500 - $103,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
