Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities and Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining all equipment, planning repair activities, and ensuring the buildings are secure and compliant with safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures to increase the operational life of equipment and reduce costs.
  • Implement and maintain a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program to optimize equipment performance and efficiency.
  • Monitor and purchase equipment wear parts and critical spares as needed to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Oversee the movement of tools and equipment in and out of the Tool Crib, perform audits, and update procedures as required to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Generate and manage the annual maintenance budget to ensure effective resource allocation and cost control.
  • Receive and prioritize maintenance requests, allocate resources, and delegate tasks to team members based on their skills and experience.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and report on daily activities to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to implement process improvements and optimize equipment performance.
  • Ensure that buildings are fit for purpose, provide proactive support and solutions, and maintain a safe and secure working environment.
  • Manage outside vendors for supplies, repair, maintenance, support, and services to ensure cost efficiency and effective resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and security procedures across the facilities and act as the first point of contact for any concerns or issues.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and audit vehicle maintenance repairs to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Track fleet usage and maintain an accurate inventory of equipment to ensure effective resource allocation and cost control.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance and safety related to company vehicles and assets.
  • Negotiate service agreements to ensure cost efficiencies and effective resource allocation.
  • Involved in the recruitment process, reviewing resumes, participating in the hiring process, training new team members, and monitoring ongoing performance.
Work Environment

This position will be working primarily in a manufacturing environment with a significant amount of time spent walking the internal building and external grounds. The environment is fast-paced with ever-changing priorities, and the ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple projects, work in a team, and adapt to changing circumstances.

Compensation

A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $72,000 - $112,400. The actual amount offered within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including geography, skills, and experience.
