Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Credentialing Coordinator. This position entails overseeing the management of all necessary provider credentials, licenses, degrees, privileges, and certifications as new healthcare providers integrate into our organization. You will collaborate with various departments to facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for physicians and advanced practice providers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or High School Diploma with a minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare or administrative roles

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in credentialing or privileging
  • One year of experience in a healthcare environment

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the credentialing process for incoming physicians and advanced practice providers
  • Manage reappointment documentation and maintain accurate provider records
  • Work in conjunction with various entities to ensure provider enrollment and compliance

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended periods of sitting
  • Ability to lift 15-20 lbs
  • Prolonged use of computer and telephone

Working Environment:

  • Standard office setting
  • Occasional travel may be required
