Thompson Pipe Group is seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for providing financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounts, preparing financial statements, and performing general bookkeeping functions.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Bookkeeping: Perform general bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Account Reconciliations: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Financial Support: Provide financial support to management by responding to information requests and providing financial data as needed.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of accounting experience.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, competent in GAAP accounting principles, thoroughness/attention to detail, deadline-oriented, communication proficiency, and ethical conduct.
This is a professional office environment that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
