Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing patient registration, providing insurance benefits interpretation and counseling, and maintaining medical terminology skills and knowledge of third-party payer regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform patient registration and verify patient information
  • Provide insurance benefits interpretation and counseling to patients
  • Maintain medical terminology skills and knowledge of third-party payer regulations
  • Perform patient and customer relations duties
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School or equivalent (GED) or higher is required
  • Associate Degree: preferred
  • Bachelors Degree: preferred
  • 2 years Customer Service is required
  • 1 to 2 years of Registration and/or Billing experience within a healthcare setting is preferred
  • Excellent communication (both written and oral), detail orientation, organization, and multitasking skills required
  • Basic computer skills

Working Conditions

This is a Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm position. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
