Job Summary:
As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth registration and admission process for patients. You will provide exceptional customer service, interpret insurance benefits, and maintain accurate medical terminology skills. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in completing tasks efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient registration and admission processes
- Provide insurance benefits interpretation and counseling
- Maintain accurate medical terminology skills and knowledge of third-party payer regulations
- Ensure accurate and efficient completion of tasks
- Provide exceptional customer service and patient relations
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2 years of customer service experience required
- 1-2 years of registration and/or billing experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Excellent communication, detail orientation, organization, and multitasking skills required
