Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Delbar Middle Eastern. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving drinks, and maintaining a clean and welcoming bar environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to patrons' needs and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Prepare and serve drinks, utilizing proper recipes, glassware, and garnishes.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of state liquor regulations and verify the legal drinking age of patrons as needed.
  • Handle purchasing transactions, including operating the cash register and accounting for daily sales.
  • Clear and reset tables and the bar area as needed.
  • Prepare all bar mixes and garnishes prior to opening.
  • Stock the bar with necessary items, including glassware, beer, liquor, mixes, non-alcoholic beverages, and supplies.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all beverage selections, including wine, champagne, and menu items.
  • Resolve patron complaints and utilize best judgment in resolving issues or referring to management as needed.
  • Assist other staff members as needed to ensure optimum service to all patrons.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a bar setting is preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of wines and beers served in the bar, mixed drink preparation techniques, and state liquor regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage priorities and workflow, and versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
  • Excellent customer service skills, good judgment, and ability to make timely and sound decisions.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor, and ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
