Power Generation Expert

The Power Generation Expert will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of power generation and distribution systems. This includes orchestrating technician support scheduling to meet 24/7 coverage of customer needs, actively supporting customer arrangements, and creating documentation, standards, and best practices for power generation and distribution.
Key Responsibilities
Support the direct communication from the team to the management team, divulging all needs, concerns, and issues that arise.
Actively support customer arrangements in reference to assigned crews, including MIRU (move in rig up) and RD (rig down) arrangements and window alignment.
Provide insights and direction in the development, design, and optimization of power systems, leading and contributing to R&D initiatives aimed at advancing power technologies.
Ensure all SOPs established and upheld from crew to crew, collaborating with project teams to offer technical guidance and ensuring best practices are upheld.
Offer technical support to sales and business development teams during client interactions, developing and conducting training sessions for internal teams to ensure they are equipped with the latest knowledge, skills, and tools.
Create and maintain documentation, standards, and best practices for power generation and distribution, analyzing and evaluating existing power systems and recommending enhancements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in power generation and distribution systems or similar applications.
Deep understanding of power layout design, operation, and maintenance, familiarity with power standards, regulations, and best practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, good written and verbal communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across departments.
Must be computer proficient, proven communication and organizational skills to coordinate, communicate, and implement company goals, and sensitive to confidential information.
Mental and Physical Requirements
Able to read, speak, and write English, employees are regularly required to sit, walk, and stand, climb up and down stairs, talk or hear, both in person and by telephone, use hands repetitively to finger, handle, feel, or operate standard office equipment, bending or stooping, squatting or crouching, kneeling, pushing or pulling, reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus, minimal safety hazards, general office working conditions, able to wear common protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, (FRC) gloves, hearing protection, and hard hats when needed, able to work under stressful conditions at times, strong work ethics of integrity and honesty striving for excellence in all activities employing accompanying communication, dependability, reliability, fulfilling responsibilities.
