ROLE SUMMARY:

The Manager of Automation Engineering Solutions is responsible for spearheading the design, procurement, and validation of process automation for key initiatives within our organization. This role encompasses troubleshooting, enhancing operational processes, transferring technology, and managing budgets to ensure optimal equipment performance and dependability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead initiatives aimed at resolving process and production challenges while introducing new products, ensuring adherence to quality benchmarks and operational effectiveness.
  • Enhance production outcomes by reducing errors and mechanical breakdowns through proactive measures.
  • Formulate strategies for plant and process enhancements to promote efficiency and cost savings.
  • Supervise the design, optimization, and qualification of equipment within established timelines and financial parameters.
  • Oversee the selection and acquisition of manufacturing machinery and utility systems to meet operational demands.
  • Recruit, nurture, and inspire key personnel to cultivate a culture of excellence and ongoing improvement.
  • Plan and implement capital expenditures on facilities and production machinery to facilitate new product initiatives.
  • Direct projects involving new equipment design, automation integration, and system enhancements.
  • Ensure all engineering projects and validation efforts comply with quality and safety regulations.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, engagement, and safety through effective communication and alignment of goals.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in automation engineering and validation roles.
  • Expertise in automation control systems, PLC programming, and equipment diagnostics.
  • In-depth understanding of validation principles, cGMPs, and OSHA regulations.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and project management capabilities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team and lead strategic projects.
