Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Neuro ICU team at Abrazo Arrowhead Campus. As a Neuro ICU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with complex neurological conditions, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to individuals with neurological conditions, including stroke, brain hemorrhage, aneurysms, tumors, and other diseases involving the brain and spine.
- Collaborate with intensivists, nurse practitioners, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform other medical procedures as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in neuro ICU care.
- Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
- BSN preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience in ICU or Neuro ICU.
- ACLS/CPR certification required upon orientation completion.
- Preferred certifications: CNRN or CCRN.
