Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant - Per Diem

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy team and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.

Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Assistant will be responsible for maintaining supplies, billing, and filing, as well as counting, pouring, and labeling prescriptions as designated by the pharmacist on duty. You will also run inventory and order supplies, participate in departmental meetings, and handle sales transactions for prescriptions and other merchandise.

Responsibilities:
  • Count, pour, and label prescriptions as designated by the pharmacist on duty
  • Run inventory and order supplies
  • Participate in departmental meetings and projects
  • Handle sales transactions for prescriptions and other merchandise
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Pharmacy Assistant license from the Washington State Board of Pharmacy
  • Minimum one (1) year of previous work experience in a retail pharmacy preferred
