Job Summary:

This role is responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences at Tao, a premier dining and nightlife destination. As a Host and Guest Experience Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for guests, setting the tone for their visit and ensuring a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times

• Greet and welcome guests, providing personalized service and ensuring their needs are met

• Anticipate and accommodate guest needs, making recommendations and suggestions to enhance their experience

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, including the handling of guest coats and belongings

• Process reservations, answer phone calls, and respond to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Participate in daily pre-service meetings to review guest expectations and ensure a smooth service

Requirements:

• Previous hospitality experience, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or nightlife setting

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Competencies:

• Knowledge of Mohegan Sun corporate and department policies and procedures

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional guest experiences

Training Requirements:

• Completion of Tao Group Hospitality in-venue host training

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods of time

• Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials

• Ability to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment, with a focus on providing exceptional guest experiences
