Job Title: Teacher Assistant EHS

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to assist our teachers in creating a safe and engaging learning environment. As a Teacher Assistant EHS, you will be responsible for supporting the daily activities of the classroom, ensuring the well-being and safety of children, and maintaining open communication with parents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers in preparing and implementing daily lesson plans, ensuring a consistent and engaging learning experience for children.
  • Support the teacher in maintaining a safe and healthy environment, including cleaning and sanitizing toys, equipment, and facilities.
  • Assist with daily personal care tasks, such as diapering, feeding, and toileting, while promoting independence and self-care skills in children.
  • Help plan and implement activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development in children.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff to ensure a collaborative approach to meeting the needs of children and families.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Early Childhood Education Certificate or CDA preferred.
  • One year of experience in a preschool-related program or early childhood development setting preferred.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, and Food Handlers certification required.
