Instructional Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Instructional Teacher Assistant to join our team at Davidson Charter Academy in Lexington, NC.
The successful candidate will provide support to teachers in delivering a comprehensive educational program, working with students individually or in small groups, and maintaining detailed records of student progress.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver instruction to whole classes and provide individualized support to students
- Prepare materials for lessons and ensure students have necessary resources
- Grade assignments and record results, maintaining accurate records of student progress
- Supervise students in various settings, including classrooms, playgrounds, and field trips
- Enforce school rules and policies, promoting a safe and respectful learning environment
- At least one year of relevant experience in an educational or childcare setting
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in education or related field preferred
- Certification in child first aid and CPR preferred
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work well with a team
- Effective multitasking and prioritization skills
Full-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $16
