Job Title: IT Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Technician to join our team at Fun Town RV. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network systems at our dealerships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and terminate low-voltage wiring, including Cat5e, Cat6e, and Fiber
  • Properly mount, install, and configure various IT equipment, including PCs, phones, televisions, cameras, switches, wireless access points, network cabinets/racks, patch panels, fiber enclosures, etc.
  • Document, maintain, and report service calls and installation actions by completing forms, reports, or logs
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve business objectives
  • Maintain data integrity by following data policies and procedures
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Maintain professionalism in the exercise of all duties listed above
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of network cabling experience (required)
  • 1 year of desktop/technical support experience (preferred)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Access
  • Proficient with Google Workspace: Docs, Sheets, & Slides
  • Excellent typing and 10-key skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to constantly adapt in a dynamic environment
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Must be a team player
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information
Physical Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, climb, crawl, and use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
