Key Responsibilities

  • Load and unload pigs as scheduled

Requirements

  • No prior experience or education required
  • Basic math skills and ability to work with numbers
  • Flexibility to work assigned weekends (Saturday/Sunday)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus, but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced farm environment

Physical Demands

The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift up to 100 pounds, and sometimes push/pull up to 300 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

The employee will occasionally work near moving mechanical parts and be commonly exposed to airborne particles and gases at low concentrations. The employee will frequently be exposed to waste material, feed, and hog dust.
