About Us
Rascal Ranch is a specially designed, secure five-acre facility tailored to cater to the unique needs and personalities of our furry friends. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in building meaningful relationships with the pets, their owners, and your colleagues.
Work Schedule
  • Operating hours: 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Shifts: 6.5 to 8 hours in duration
  • No evening, weekend, or holiday shifts
Availability requirements:
  • Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Friday
  • 30-40 hours weekly
  • Optional additional hours for candidates with skills in fence construction, repair, and general handiwork (up to 5 hours monthly)
  • Optional pet-sitting services available for extra income
Location
  • Facility: Pacifica
  • Company vehicles: Belmont and San Carlos
  • Service areas: Various local communities
Compensation & Benefits

$24.50 per hour (starting at $23.50, increasing to $24.50 after a successful probation period)

$2900 - $3400 monthly (based on business needs and individual performance)

  • Paid training in pet care, including dog handling, pack management, and first aid certifications

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely transport pets to and from their homes to our facility
  • Ensure pets feel comfortable and secure during transport
  • Supervise off-leash play, encouraging safe behavior and teaching proper manners
  • Observe and interpret pet interactions, adjusting groups for a harmonious environment
  • Capture daily photos of the pets for their owners
  • Deliver a five-star customer service experience
  • Assist team members at the facility and provide coverage as needed
  • Maintain punctuality and excellent attendance
Ideal Candidate
  • Minimum of five years of driving experience
  • At least one year of experience driving vans or larger vehicles for work
  • Prior professional driving experience with reputable companies is highly regarded
  • Professional driver training is a significant advantage
  • Comfortable around animals of various sizes, with a willingness to learn about pet handling and safety
  • Technologically adept, capable of using communication tools and navigation software
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail for smooth operations
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
  • Exceptional reliability and work ethic
  • Confident in interacting with clients during pick-up and drop-off
  • Patient and adaptable, able to manage excited pets and occasional barking
