Key Highlights:
  • Staffing model with 40+ Anesthesiologists and 100+ CRNAs covering 65 diverse sites, including Cath Lab, IR, Endo, ECT.
  • CRNAs have a Chief CRNA to lead the team and represent their division within the group and with hospital administration.
  • Average anesthesia volume of 55,000 cases annually and growing.
  • Diverse mix of cases, including Cardiac, Endo, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, OB, Oncology, Ortho, Thoracic, Vascular, and Trauma.
  • Specialty compensation increase to base salary for Cardiac, Trauma, & OB experience with documented case logs.
  • $30,000 retention/commencement bonus for 3 years.
Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctorate degree (DNP or DNAP) of Nurse Anesthesia accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) Council of Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
  • APRN State of Florida Licensure - maintain active and in good standing throughout employment.
  • National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
  • American Heart Association BLS/PALS/ACLS - maintain active and in good standing throughout employment.

  • Premium pay calculation if clinician works past scheduled shift. Premium calculation also applies if clinician opts to pick-up extra shifts.
  • Full array of benefits offered, including health, dental, vision, Long-term/short-term disability, CME/PTO, and 403(b).
  • 280 hours PTO (7 weeks) + 40 hours CME.
  • As an employee of a public, State of Florida organization, CRNAs are entitled to sovereign immunity.
  • No tail coverage is needed should you leave our organization.
  • Sarasota Memorial and First Physicians Group are not-for-profit organizations.
  • CRNAs can participate in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program if employed by First Physicians Group.
  • No State Tax in Florida.
