Position Overview

As a Retail Stylist, you'll drive revenue by providing exceptional client services, building relationships, and presenting a clean and safe store environment. You'll consistently achieve individual goals, supporting store objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Embody our values and set an example through your behaviors
  • Ensure compliance with all ANN INC. practices and procedures
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Store Manager, Co-Manager, and Sales Leads
Revenue Generation

Meet or exceed divisional, store, and individual financial and credit goals, contributing to the store's overall objectives.

Client Experience
  • Provide excellent client service by anticipating needs, exceeding expectations, and adhering to ANN INC. service experience standards
  • Build relationships with clients, create loyalty, and multi-task while servicing internal and external clients
  • Address client concerns, resolve issues, and involve management when necessary
Operations
  • Complete opening and closing procedures, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned by the Leadership Team
  • Meet merchandise processing standards, maintain an organized work area, and adhere to Loss Prevention practices
  • Ensure a safe work environment, report potential hazards, and participate in inventory preparation
Technical Expertise
  • Demonstrate a desire and ability to learn and navigate ANN INC. computer systems
  • Perform register transactions quickly and efficiently, using Distributed Order Maintenance (DOM's) and StyleFinder
  • Operate the phone, answering calls with an appropriate greeting, transferring, and placing calls on hold
Product/Brand Management
  • Understand and articulate the Company's brand positioning, including uniqueness, marketing initiatives, and lifestyle concepts
  • Live the ANN INC. Purpose, Values & Behaviors, and Practices in all interactions
  • Participate in and attend Store Meetings, use associate education tools, and build product and styling knowledge
Requirements
  • Ability to function as a role model, ensuring the client remains the top priority
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines with minimal supervision and within designated timeframes
  • Knowledge of visual standards and techniques, and ability to implement and maintain with ANN INC.'s guidelines
