Position Summary:
The Mortgage Compliance Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the loan processing team.

This position is responsible for overseeing the Re-disclosure process throughout the loan lifecycle, ensuring adherence to compliance standards while enhancing their understanding of mortgage processing by reviewing and resolving any Disclosure-related conditions.

A solid grasp of regulatory requirements is crucial for effective performance in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the Processing team to ensure seamless file management from a compliance standpoint. Prepare and disclose loan files in accordance with State, Federal, and Municipal regulations, proactively identifying conditions needed to pass audits prior to closing. Assess initial and re-disclosures for signature and form compliance with RESPA 2010, MDIA/TILA, and Dodd Frank regulations. Analyze High cost/Predatory lending metrics and conduct system evaluations (Mavent). Serve as a resource for sales and processing personnel to uphold compliance and best practices.

Prioritize workflow and manage work queue effectively through pipeline oversight.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities

Familiarity with underwriting and loan closing processes

Proven ability to meet deadlines with precision

Understanding of various federal and state regulations

Flexibility to adapt to evolving business environments

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Educational Background and Experience:
1-3 years of analytical experience preferred

Experience in mortgage banking is essential

Proficient in WINDOWS applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access)

Capable of generating and interpreting daily reports and working independently from a queue

Experience with Ellie Mae Encompass Banker 360 is a plus
