POSITION OVERVIEW
The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in assisting with the daily retail functions of the assigned store, encompassing sales and service, team leadership, and operational excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver a welcoming and effective sales and service experience on the sales floor to meet sales targets and provide outstanding service.
- Engage with in-store customers and cultivate a loyal client base to enhance sales.
- Support the development and execution of strategies aimed at boosting sales and achieving key performance metrics.
- Assist in the recruitment and training of a team focused on client experience and support management.
- Coach and mentor the team to ensure adherence to client service standards and company policies.
- Organize and oversee in-store events, marketing campaigns, and CRM activities to encourage and reward repeat business.
- Implement product and visual merchandising guidelines to optimize space and enhance sales.
- Oversee inventory management processes, including product receipts, transfers, and returns.
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization, ensuring both front-of-house and stock areas are well-kept.
- Promote a collaborative and productive work environment.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experienced with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Knowledgeable in back-office operations management.
- Skilled in visual merchandising techniques.
- Able to recruit, train, and develop a team effectively.
- Capable of collaborating efficiently with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to make independent decisions or escalate issues as necessary.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
