Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Professor of Philosophy to teach dual credit students enrolled in freshman- and sophomore-level university courses in Philosophy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach online, synchronous courses at a variety of days and times
  • Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material
  • Use a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines
  • Evaluate students to measure their progress in achieving course objectives and inform students in a timely manner of their progress
  • Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Philosophy or a master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Philosophy
  • Classroom teaching experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD and prior University teaching experience
  • Blackboard experience
