Job Title: Theatre Adjunct Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified Theatre Adjunct Professor to join our team at Sul Ross State University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Acting I and other courses in the Theatre department.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach Acting I and other courses in the Theatre department
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse students
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback
  • Contribute to the development of the Theatre program and department
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide committees
Requirements:
  • MFA in Acting or Directing
  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with first-generation students
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Producing or arts management experience
