Moffitt Cancer Center seeks a highly skilled Pulmonary Critical Care Physician to lead our multidisciplinary critical care team. As a key member of our academic medical enterprise, you will provide patient care, conduct research, and advance our mission to contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer.
Responsibilities- Lead the critical care team and coordinate care among primary service and consultant teams
- Assess, treat, and support patients with vital organ system failures
- Diagnose and treat complex disorders of the lungs, including cancer, pneumonia, and asthma
- Perform resuscitation in acute cardiac, respiratory, or neurologic emergencies
- Conduct procedures such as intubation, central and arterial line placement, and diagnostic/therapeutic bronchoscopy
- MD or equivalent degree
- Board certification (or eligibility) in Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine
- Florida Medical License
- DEA License
- ACLS as required by privileges granted through Medical Staff
