Warehouse Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Della Infotech. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shipping and Receiving: Perform quality checks on outbound and inbound shipments, and execute ERP system transactions on outbound and inbound shipments.
• Inventory Management: Maintain inventory accuracy, update FMS for parcel and freight shipments, and learn to use handheld RF scanners and Warehouse Management System to fulfill orders.
• Warehouse Operations: Perform outbound staging and packing in accordance with site policies, handle and control hazardous material on both inbound and outbound, and comply with 5S safety, housekeeping practices, and regulations.
• Equipment Operation: Lift up to 75 pounds unassisted, and operate powered industrial trucks including work assist vehicle (WAV), off the ground order picker (up to 35' off the ground), reach truck, dock stocker, and powered pallet jacks.
• Continuous Improvement: Develop familiarity with a subset of products, processes, operational metrics, and software tools, and provide input geared towards continuous improvement, work instruction documentation, and standardization of processes.

Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Skills: Effective communication skills, basic computer literacy, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Working Conditions:

• Physical Demands: Medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds. Must be able to see color.
• Environmental Conditions: No adverse environmental conditions expected.
