Civil Engineering Opportunities at JF White

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineering Intern to join our team at JF White. As a Civil Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and tasks, including


**Project Development**

Assist in the development of bids, including reading plans and project documents, performing quantity take-off and proposal assembly.


**Project Planning and Coordination**

Prepare Excel worksheets, highlight drawings, and assist in project planning.


**Submittals and Quantity Tracking**

Assist project engineers with submittals and quantity tracking, reporting, and cost control related tasks, organizing project photographs.


**Vendor and Subcontractor Coordination**

Assist project engineers coordinate with vendors and subcontractors.


**Field Engineering**

Assist with field engineering tasks such as measuring quantities for payment or progress reporting, quantifying materials or equipment on site, assisting in quality verification or documenting environmental conditions.


**Schedule Management**

Assist project superintendents with quantifying and documenting schedules.


**Presentations and Reporting**

Assist in preparing MS PowerPoint presentations.


**Quotation and Solicitation**

Assist project engineers or estimators with solicitation of subcontractor or vendor quotations.
