About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer Intern to join our Roadway Design team in Boston, Massachusetts. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of highway and roadway projects, working closely with experienced design engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and development of highway and roadway projects, including geometric design, alignment layout, and cross-sections.
  • Prepare and deliver highway design projects through a design submittal phase or construction phase.
  • Support the preparation of conceptual, preliminary, and final designs with supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate design elements seamlessly.
  • Prepare presentation materials for meetings and assist in preparing, coordinating, and facilitating public presentations and workshops.
Requirements
  • Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
  • Basic understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of 2 years of post-secondary Civil engineering program.
  • AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience.
  • Strong interest in transportation and infrastructure.
