Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Night Shift

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is essential in delivering patient care by engaging in the nursing processes of assessment, planning, execution, and evaluation. Under the guidance of Registered Nurses (RNs), the LPN offers direction and support in patient education and activities that correspond with their training and proven competencies.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and execute efficient systems for identifying, preventing, and managing communicable diseases, while ensuring adherence to applicable regulations and guidelines.
  • Conduct regular assessments of infectious disease occurrences among patients, including facilitating referrals for community follow-up and care coordination post-discharge.
  • Foster a secure and healthy environment for healthcare personnel, which includes performing monthly safety and sanitation evaluations of the facility.
  • Design and implement infection control training and educational programs for patients and staff, while encouraging the development of positive social skills.
  • Maintain responsibility for patients and property while following safety protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements:Education:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
Experience:
  • Preferred minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience.
Licenses/Certifications:
  • Possess and uphold current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse within the state of employment.
  • Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining CPR certification.
