Job Title: RN - Med Surg

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in a Medical Surgical setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and promoting a positive and supportive environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' medical needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure their optimal health and well-being.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and document all interactions in resident records.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions between shifts and departments.
  • Provide education and support to residents and their families on health-related topics and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance resident care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a Medical Surgical setting, preferably in a long-term care or assisted living environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and other healthcare software systems.
