Job Title: RN - Med Surg

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Med Surg Nurse. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their overall well-being, and ensuring their safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' health and wellness needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing effective care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring residents' responses and adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Resident Care Director and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Provide education and support to residents and their families on health-related topics, promoting independence and empowerment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices in resident care.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a med surg unit.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.
