Key Responsibilities- Client Collaboration: Work with clients to evaluate their existing safety programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop customized loss prevention strategies to minimize potential risks and reduce claims frequency.
- Regulatory Compliance: Advise clients on OSHA compliance and other regulatory requirements relevant to their industry.
- Safety Program Development: Recommend and implement proactive safety measures to mitigate potential risks and reduce claims frequency.
- Training and Education: Educate and train client personnel on best practices in safety management and accident prevention.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare detailed reports and presentations outlining findings, recommendations, and progress updates.
- Client Support: Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure continued support and alignment with their safety objectives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Professional Certifications: OSHA certifications (e.g., OSHA 30-hour, OSHA 500) and other relevant safety designations.
- Experience: Proven experience in safety and loss control, with a strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and safety program development.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a consultative approach to client interactions.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel regularly, both locally and out-of-state, as required.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with safety software and tools for conducting risk assessments and safety audits.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in consulting or advisory roles within the insurance or risk management industry, and experience with safety software and tools.
- Competitive Compensation: Competitive salary range of $105k-$120k based on experience.
