Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced On-Call Field Technician to join our team at Geeks on Site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch computer repair and IT support services to our residential and small business customers nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site technical support and repair services for computer systems, hardware, and software
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to internet connectivity, network configuration, and smart home devices
  • Install and configure TV, surveillance, automation, and networked systems in residential and commercial spaces
  • Assist clients with warranty and troubleshooting issues, and provide basic tutorials to help them understand software
  • Work independently in an unsupervised location, facing clients directly, and maintain a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in providing technical support and repair services
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems, PC imaging, and hardware diagnostics
  • Knowledge of smart devices, their systems, and installation procedures
  • Able to climb ladders, work at heights, and lift and carry items unassisted
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
