We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Customer Development Analyst to join our team at J&J Family of Companies. As a key member of our customer development team, you will be responsible for providing category solutions and insights that drive profitable omni-category growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively uncover business opportunities with deep-dive analytics using various resources, including retailer POS data, syndicated data, and marketplace assessments.
  • Integrate omni-channel initiatives into analysis of business results and uncover transformational omni-category insights and solutions for our customers, shoppers, and consumers.
  • Lead category presentations at assigned customers and develop assortment optimization recommendations for online and in-store by providing shopper, category, brand, and/or customer insights.
  • Collaborate with customer development managers to evolve promotional plans, evaluate the impact of pricing, and track competitive activity to unlock internal and external growth opportunities.
  • Support efforts to build an indispensable partner mindset with our customers and work with internal partners to provide voice of customer to craft our go-to-market initiatives.
  • Find opportunities to deliver on strategic seasonal priorities for the business and develop, utilize, and share best practices to improve functional efficiency and accuracy of findings and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of prior experience in customer sales, category insights/management, analytics, shopper marketing/insights, or related field in a consumer products environment is required.
  • Prior experience with syndicated data, such as Nielsen or IRI, is preferred.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.
  • Prior Health and Beauty Care (HBC) category experience is preferred.
  • Prior experience with JDA or other space planning software is preferred.
  • Ability to assess, interpret, and draw accurate conclusions from sales and customer data is required.
  • Ability to craft impactful presentations to explain recommendations and findings of analyses, resources, and studies is required.
