Radiologic Imaging Specialist

Community Health Connections (CHC) is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing digital X-ray studies on patients, working under the direction of providers and Nurse Managers.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiographic examinations, including patient positioning, immobilization, and radiation protection.
- Set up and adjust supportive and immobilization equipment as required.
- Accurately document patient encounters in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Determine and select proper electronic and technical factors to safeguard patients, x-ray tubes, and equipment.
- Maintain clinical and administrative skills to meet patient care and daily operational needs.
- Travel to other sites or adjust work hours as directed by the manager.
- Direct and practice sterile technique to prevent cross-contamination of disease.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or necessary repairs to the supervisor.
- High School Diploma or GED required, associate degree or equivalent preferred.
- Completion of an approved X-Ray Technician certification program is required.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiographic Technicians (ARRT), or eligible Licensure/Certification preferred.
- Medical Assisting experience a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish/English or Portuguese/English, preferred.
- Experience working in a fast-paced medical office environment, preferred.
- Computer skills for accurate data entry.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and the ability to use standard office equipment.
- AHA BLS Health Care Provider certification or equivalent.
