Position Overview

Role: Hospital Coding Lead

This position offers a fully remote opportunity, available in all states except for CA, NY, CO, NJ, IL, and HI.


Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5x8 hours during the day
Guaranteed Weekly Hours: 40 hours
Weekend Availability: Overtime and weekend work are optional (All roles are hourly)


Compensation: $68,000 - $95,000 (based on experience)


Required Certifications: Candidates must possess CCS, CPC, and/or CIC coding credentials. Note: RHIT certification is not acceptable. (This excludes apprenticeship classifications)


Experience Requirements: A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in a healthcare facility is required. Familiarity with coding compliance standards for various patient encounters is preferred.

Additional Notes:
Hiring restrictions apply in the following states: CA, NY, CO, NJ, IL, HI.

Additional Information:

Systems Utilized: Hospital Billing Coding – EPIC and 3M

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Candidates should be capable of using computers for online training, accessing digital forms and policies, and completing online benefits enrollment.
